Didima Resort - Unwind in the Berg
October 2018 - The world is yours to wonder at in the Maloti-Drakensberg Park World Heritage Site, one of South Africa's prime ecotourism destinations. Savour the freedom of open spaces as you prepare to take yourself on a spiritual journey through the Drakensberg, in the luxury of Didima Resort at Cathedral Peak.
Didima Resort is themed to the San People and their rock art; the renowned chalet architecture resembles caves that blend unobtrusively into the landscape. Set in the Drakensberg foothills, Didima Resort offers uninterrupted views of the picturesque mountain range, and is surrounded by scenic grasslands, streams, waterfalls and craggy cliffs.
Didima offers 62 two-bed chalets, 2 four-bed cabins, a two-bed honeymoon suite and a six-bed bungalow. All accommodation features satellite television and a fireplace. The main lodge at the resort contains a restaurant, bar, fireplace, lounge and a shop for food supplies and curios.
All two-bed chalets have an en-suite bedroom, a sitting area, satellite television and fireplace. The chalets are built back-to-back and an inter-leading door allows the two chalets to be transformed into a four-bed family unit. All linen, towels and blankets are provided.
The two four-bed cabins each have two separate bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a lounge/dining area, a fully-equipped kitchen satellite television and fireplace. All linen, towels and blankets are provided.
The bungalow has three bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities, a lounge/dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, satellite television and fireplace. All linen, towels and blankets are provided.
