  We dropped our car off and about half an hour later I got a call from Alpheus telling me that I had left my power pack and chord in the cubby hole of the car. He checks all First Car Rental's vehicles at the drop off zone at OR Tambo International Airport.

  I was so impressed and told Alpheus that I would definitely let you know with regard to his brilliant service!

• 17 March - WINNING LETTER

  Dear First Car Rental,
  On Monday, 1 March, we forgot a video camera on the back seat of the car that we hired. We only realised this when we were about to board our plane at King Shaka International Airport. When we called your King Shaka branch, we were told that the cleaning guys had found the camera and placed it in a safe place. They then brought it to us before boarding.

  This was awesome service and I am so grateful. I would like to compliment them for a job well done. Every company needs such trustworthy people working for them. Thank you.

  I have to say how impressed I was today with First Car Rental. My hire car tracker alarm kept going off in the night so I called them this morning and within 30 minutes I had a new car delivered to me at work! Very impressive service - well done!
