Telkom 947 Cycle Challenge
The 947 Cycle Challenge was established in 1997 as an event in Johannesburg to rival Cape Town's Cycle Tour. The event has since become Gauteng's largest road cycling and mountain biking event.
A bucket-list event, the Telkom 947 Cycle Challenge offers the following races:
- • 94.7km Cycle Challenge through the City of Johannesburg
- • Mountain Bike Challenge - 10km, 25km and 55km events
- • Kiddies Rides - varying distances and categories for kids aged 2 to 10 years
