Soweto Marathon

Considered a tour of Soweto, the Soweto Marathon is set to attract over 25 000 athletes to the starting line to run this iconic race through the streets of Soweto, past six significant heritage sites.

The event comprises a standard 42.2km marathon, a 21km half-marathon and a 10km run. Online entries for this popular race open in March 2018 and sell-out very quickly, so early entry is advised.
