About Wet Nose

Wet Nose is a non-profit organisation that rescues, rehabilitates and then re-homes abused, abandoned or lost animals.

The organisation believes that all animals have a ‘Right to Life', meaning that no animal is put to sleep, unless it is suffering severely and cannot be saved.

Since 2009, First Car Rental has been a proud supporter of Wet Nose, which relies solely on donations from the public and corporates.

To date, First Car Rental has donated and wrapped two Nissan Hardbody bakkies to assist Wet Nose Inspectors getting into rural areas and transporting all types of animals from dogs, cats, horses, donkeys and cows, etc.

First Car Rental also sponsored T-Shirts for the Wet Nose cycle team for the 2012, 2013 and 2014 Momentum 947 Cycle Challenges.

How you can help Wet Nose

A great way to help Wet Nose is by sponsoring an animal kennel, or two. The kennel sponsorship is deducted via debit order every month and you can set the amount for whatever you can afford.

The advantage of a direct debit is that Wet Nose is aware of funds coming in at the end of every month and can budget accordingly.

As a kennel sponsor, your name will be placed on your kennel and Wet Nose will keep you updated on the progress of the animal being housed in your kennel. You will also receive a Kennel Sponsor's Certificate and can visit "your" animal whenever you like.
