Cloud9Golf launches golf challenge for JAM SA

Funds raised through Cloud9Golf's latest golf tournament will go towards JAM SA, an organisation helping feed South African children.

July 2014 - Cloud9Golf is calling on all golfers, whether novice, amateur or pro, to compete in their latest open golf event, the Q Scramble Gauteng Corporate Challenge, where there'll be amazing lucky draw prizes on offer, the chance to play in the World Final in Spain and a R100 000 cash prize for a Hole-in-One or 60ft putt.

All funds raised will be donated to JAM SA, a South African-based non-profit humanitarian organization that provides vital nutrition to young children in poverty-stricken communities across South Africa.

Over the last four years Cloud9Golf initiatives, all of which have been supported by First Car Rental, have raised over R2.5 million for inspiring causes such as the M-Net Naledi Children's Literacy Project and PinkDrive Breast Cancer.

Q Scramble Challenge

Cloud9Golf's latest project aims to raise fund for JAM SA through a fun open golf tournament, the Q Scramble Gauteng Corporate Challenge. The tournament is open to all levels of golfers, with the first of seven events starting on 29 July 2014 at the Bryanston Country Club, Gauteng.

At each event golfers stand the chance of winning lucky draw prizes that include R20 000 cash, holidays, hampers and vouchers.

There's also a R100 000 cash prize for a hole-in-one and 60ft Putt, and prizes for Nearest-the-Pins, Longest Drives and first to third positions.

First-place winners of each event automatically qualify for the Regional Final in March 2015, where they can then go on to compete in the Q Scramble South African Final or even the World Final in Spain.
