Apply online for a UK visa
May 2016 - South Africans can now apply online for a UK visa thanks to a new service launched at the end of April by the UK Home Office.
The new service - called Access UK - allows South African to fill out an application form, pay for their visa and book their Visa Application Centre (VAC) appointment online. Thereafter, they will only need to visit the VAC to submit biometrics in order to complete the application.
South Africans can apply for the following UK visas using the new service:
• Standard Visitor Visa
• Visitor (Marriage and Civil Partnership) Visa
• Visitor (Permitted Paid Engagement) Visa
Priority visa applications will also be accepted online.
